Stopped in for a quick lunch today. It has that minimalist new American cafe look to it with the light wood and art on the walls. Only three house beers on, Negra, Pale Ale and Octoberfest. All were served in frozen glasses and served ice cold, all three has little to no carbonation and only the Octoberfest did not present off flavors. The staff was friendly and quick. Food was great, the pulled pork and tater-tots rocked.

I'd come here just for the food next time ... I'll pass on the beer until I hear they have cleaned up the beers and stopped serving them ice cold.

I stopped in this place with Stopper during GABF this year. We walked over to the pub which is just across the Platte River from Downtown. Walking in the pub looks like a pizza joint. Fairly small restaurant area with several table chair setups spaced around the pub. There is an L shaped bar of about 12 - 15 stools. Bartender is actually brewer/owner and is very friendly. There are 4 house beers on tap but the pale ale is a little young and not quite ready yet. I had a pint of the O-fest which was decent and samplers of other brews. All were ok, but not outstanding, the negra modelo style brew was a little off. Food is pub grub with some interesting items like tater tots. I had a salad that had nice fresh crispy veggies. WE got a brewery tour after lunch. Everything was packed in a very small space and is basically a one man brewery by design limits. With some time this could be a decent little spot, its in a decent neighborhood and seems like it could become a local pub kind of place. Easy to find and worth a stop if in the area, but dont go TOO far out of the way for it.

I've tried this place a couple times now, and gave it another shot during GABF week, hoping they'd really step it up. I don't care for the decor and ambiance of the place at all, just not my style. The service has never been anything more than adequate at best, and the beer selection still disappoints a bit, especially for a brewpub. The food is really quite good, the tater tots and appetizers rock! But the beer...
They had 3 of their own to choose from, a Negro (dark Mexican style), Pale Ale, and Oktoberfest. I had had the Negro (decent, nothing special) and Pale (very weak and unremarkable) before, so my friends and I all ordered the Oktoberfest.
Yuck. Easily one of the worst brewpub beers I've ever had. The three of us drank about an inch worth of the glass, and then ordered a round of Wynkoop Pilseners (YUM!), which the waitress didn't charge us for. Wow, that Oktoberfest was horrid. I was hoping this place would get its act together (it's soooo close to my house!), but after all this time, the guest beers still far outshine any of their own. Maybe I'll try again in 6 months or so.

This place just recently opened. It looks like a former corner diner. Small, limit of 66. A bit cramped, but cozy. Bar reflects the diner feel, looks more like a counter.
Nice neighborhood, on the corner of Tejon and 32nd. Streetside parking, a little frustrating on a weekend.
Three of their own brews on tap. I did not try the Pale Ale. Beers were solid, nothing spectacular, but better than the other choices (Bud, Guinness, Bud Light, Coors...). Food is good. Simple. I had the double cheeseburger, and it was great. Like just off the outside grill. Fairly cheap for this area of town. Worth a stop.

Stopped in for a Saturday lunch during a snowstorm, so the place was empty except for staff and a few regulars. Ordered some soup, meals, and a few beers. Food was nice - menu was a combination of very basic foods made with quality ingredients, and a few more upscale salads and entrees. Everything seemed to be made with quality ingredients -- all natural meats, etc. Beers were both solid examples of the style, and the other offerings on tap were interesting as well. Cheap pints during happy hour. I will definitely be back!
