I've been drinking this for quite awhile, various batches including the India Elephant at Flatirons. I find it a decent big IPA, full bodied and strong hops, though not predominantly grapefruit or pine oriented, flavors which I like. I'll be honest, on weekends I can get this as a growler refill for $5.00, and as such, it's the best hoppy deal in the Denver area. It's not Pliney or DuganA or other spectacular hop monsters, but it's tasty and I'll continue draining growlers as fast as they make them. Another 2XIPA related is their Monster IPA sometimes found at the Westminster location.
### Feb 2012 Update: Have not seen this for awhile...perhaps gone for good as brewer Dennis has moved to Arvada Brewing Co. Also, all their growlers are several dollars more than before, but still under $10 and a good bargain.

A: Orange/amber color. Poured a 1 finger white head with fair retention. Lots of sticky lacing.

S: Mild floral hops, subdued citrus and wet grain.

T: Sweet, bready malts up front. Slightly resiny hops; but not much character. Bitter to balance.

M: Medium body. Low carbonation; perhaps a little flat. Almost a dry finish with some alcohol flavor.

D: Not quite the hop character I expected in a DIPA. ABV a bit daunting.
