Poured a deep orange amber with a full white head that dissipates to leave some great lacing clinging to the sides. Some yeast poured out as well. Colors are deep and full but not murky. Some light carbonation can be seen against the glass.
Smells very strong, sweet, caramel and toffee, definite bitterness as well. Extremely strong aroma.
Wow, up front a little spicy. Very clean all the way down, I'm actually finding this to be cleansing my palate pretty well and bringing up past flavors from the cilantro-salsa cheese I just ate earlier tonight. Citrus acidity is rather high. Bitterness is crisp and dry, not overwhelming. Very unique, I like it a lot.
Mouthfeel is medium with some definite carbonation to it. Drinkability is good, but I couldn't drink lots of these back to back.

P: Murky dark caramel body that looks similar to unfiltered pure apple cider. A massive cloudy of khaki clouds perch above and micro bubble chain male wrap the edges.
S: Belgian candy sugar, sweet plums, dark cherries, moldy oak, pilsner malt, medicinal yeast, raisin pound cake, toffee and honey sticks.
T/M: Thick sticky sweet malts, loads of barley, toffee, sourdough toast, tea tannins, dark fruits, with an abrasive chalky yeast and hop bitterness medley that cuts straight through the sugary start. Soda pop carbonation in medium body finishing with a dry rustic linger.
O: This was an interesting brew to say the least. Harsh bitterness with a huge sugary malt profile. This almost comes across as a hopped up quad. I think I might grab another bottle. Cheers!
