I've been stopping at this place for about 18 years, on and off. It used to be the only place I knew of, in my little shopping-radius, for quite some time. Their prices seem pretty par for the course. They usually have at least a few interesting or unusual beers worth trying, as far as Euro and also US micro's. The person who does the ordering seems interested in trying to find or order what you want, but then again they've never followed up on any of my requests as far as actually doing it, or even calling me back. Wooden Keg is far superior. Still, if you're in the Valley Mall area and need to stop somewhere for other-than-US-Macro, it's in the separate section with Toys'R'Us (just in case you're looking to grab some toys while you're buying beer ha ha), and plentiful parking.

A varied, but small and limited supply of Craft beer. There's a reason for that though, they specialize in wines, and have the finest selection in the area. (Full-time beer drinker, part-time wine drinker here...) The service is outstanding, very helpful and accommodating.
Given the fact that it's off the beaten path for the usual craft beer suspects, I have found a few rarities, hard to finds, and sold-outs there. No one else thinks to check there. ^_~

Virtually nothing in the way of craft brews. A few locals, ie troegs, sam adams and DFH, but other than that, next to nothing. Personally, I wouldn't even bother stopping in. How long the beer has sat on the shelved is questionable at best. The workers don't seem to know much at all about craft brew....though I wouldn't call that their fault, as this seems to be more of a liquor store and not a beer store. Over Christmas I saw a few holiday packs of unibroue and ommegang, but no 6 packs, cases, or singles to be had. Check out Long Meadow Liquors if you are in the area, as I think they have the best selection and price in the area.

Emergencies only folks. The only reason I went here is that it was an easy walk from the Spring Hill Suites I was staying at. Don't even bother walking back to the coolers, it's all BMC fare. The cases and six-packs they have right inside the door is all the micro/imports you will see. I grabbed a Clipper City Heavy Seas four-pack, a six of Backfin Pale ale, and some Rare Rooster. they had some DFH and a few others but not sure of how well it moves.
I felt like I was keeping these people from chatting with their regulars. They almost said hi to me as they were looking over my shoulder talking to everyone else. No awards for making new customers welcome.
