Labeled as Yosemite Falls Pale Ale. Pours clear gold with a decent-sized white head, moderate retention and lacing. Aroma is mild citrus and pale malts. Flavor is biscuity malts and light grapefruit hops. Finishes bready and not bitter. On the watery end of the spectrum, pretty easy to drink.

Picked up a single at the Tuolumne Meadows store after a hike to enjoy with lunch. The name recognition was too much to ignore.
Into a pint glass this brew pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with a short lived head and offers some random spotty lacing.
A bit of smoky toasted malts on the nose coupled with some subtle dry hop notes. Nothing too extravagant. Taste is lively carbonated and offers a decent malt balance, though the finish is a bit flat and drying.
A decent pale ale with no special features and yet no obvious faults.

My parents went to Yosemite last week and brought this back as a gift, and there is no better gift than good beer! It poured a nice burnt orange color and had a great sticky white head that stayed till the last sip. The smell was nice and inviting with a medium hoppines and a little bit of sweet malt. The flavor was that of a balanced pale ale that leaned a little bit towards the malty side. The hops did stick their head out though and added a little dryness to the finish. Not an outstanding, chart topping pale ale but a good try nonetheless. And if you are vacationing in the Yosemite Valley I guess you can find it around quite readily. Worth a try.

This stuff looked pretty good sitting on the shelf at the store in Yosemite. It warmed me up before my hike up the valley.
It is a pale orangy-gold color, typical of pale ales.
The smell was hoppy with a back story of malt and a little bit of yeast in the distant background.
The hop was there but not overly pronounced. More malty than I like my pale ales but not too far to that side.
The mouth feel was ok, nothing to write home about. I like a little more carbonation, but again by no means flat.
It was very nice to have with the roticery chicken.
You don't have a picture, I guess I should have saved a bottle.

On tap at Camp Curry, Yosemite valley.
Pulled from a very nice figural tap handle.
Light Amber, clear, off white head that fell quick.
Clean, juicy malt in the nose accented with light citrus hops.
Finishes with light caramel, chocolate and crisp.
Smooth, and medium bodied.
Fairly malty on the pallet with an offsetting bitterness. Leaning towards an Amber.
Finishes quick with a dash of chocolate.
Not particularly fresh or memorable, the barkeep informed me that this was actually brewed by Snowshoe brewing.
Same recipe as the Thompson Pale ale, which I remember as being quite good and hoppy last time around.
