App - very dark amber color, moderate off-white head, finely bubbled and with decent (but not great) head retention.
Aroma - chocolate malt dominates. Some slight citrusy hop notes early, but secondary to dark malt. Slight pine?
Flav - malty, but not sweet, and a slightly earthy character to initial flavor. Transitions to a fairly dry, balanced finish. Flavor strangely subdued relative to the aroma.
MF - medium body and carbonation - no astringency or warming - all style appropriate.
D-ability - Goes down easy, some flavor but nothing overpowering. Modest carbonation aids in the drinkability.

Draft serving, thin off-white head, fair lacing, lovely medium brown color, crystal clear. Very little aroma--a hint of hops and malt. Flavor is underwhelming, hops, mild malt flavor, a bit of caramel, no fruity notes. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and foamy. Not a really pleasant ale to drink, mostly dissapointing. Just OK.

Pour had no head on a dark brown body.
The aroma was mild brown sugar. Fine but not much there.
The taste had a mild sweet malt balanced out with mild bitter.
Crisp with low to moderate carbonation.
It is a pretty mellow beer, which made it an easy drinker.
