A: Pours a nice amber with a 1 finger tan head that recedes and doesn't lace.

S: Can nose in the caramel and hops. Some earthy elements as well.

T: Good malts, hops, and sweetness. Some caramel taste.

M: Smooth, creamy, and coats the mouth nicely. Good carbonation.

D: Easy to drink octoberfest. Not the best example of a marzen, but a good overall beer.

12 ounce can poured into a tulip glass.

L---Crystal clear, deep amber color. Giant tan head faded slowly. Very good lacing.

S---Malty. Brown bread and light caramel.

T---Same as the nose but with a light hop bitterness for balance.

F---Medium body with good carbonation.

O---A tasty enough Marzen. Nothing fancy, but not everything needs to be.

12 oz can - $2 from the Acme in Media, Pennsylvania. It has a BB date of 22 January 2022 stamped on the bottom.
Appearance. Fine looking with a clear body that may be a bit darker and more reddish than average for the style, topped by a tall, semi-durable beige head.
While this smells like a rather typical marzen, tasting reveals one that leans to the bitter and hoppy side and that has an overly bitter aftertaste.

A nice classic Oktoberfest lager with an aroma of honey and malt, and a great dark amber color. This beer is a great choice for an Oktoberfest celebration, and stands up against some of the more popular local brews. All in all this is a nice lager for the fall season, and one I recommend to anyone who loves marzen style lagers

Solid all around brew, refreshing, this is a crisp marzen with a good base of malty back bone to it. Nothing hoppy here and almost stands up to Bell's Oktoberfest, this is my second choice to that.
