I visited this during a beer mini-tour of North Carolina. You walk in the place, and immediately you know that you are in a truly world-class beer store. There is ONLY beer, and only GOOD beer - nary a drop of industrial cat p***. It is rather small, but this lends a cozy, boutique atmosphere to it. Sure, it can get a bit tight when crowded, but the personnel are very helpful and latch on to you. They are friendly but not overly so, and the man who helped me was more than happy to steer me towards the best North Carolina beers. They have a ginormous selection of Belgians and a couple shelves dedicated entirely to local brews, nearly all of which I have not seen anywhere else.

One more item crossed off my beer bucket list!

The selection was alright, it was a small place and a pain in the ass to find parking. I have had people tell me for ages about how great this place is. I wasn't all that impressed. I know of two stores that have a much better selection and are not all that much bigger. One is Peabody's in Boone and the other is Sam's Quick Shop in Durham. Overall, if I was in Asheville staying downtown and needed some beer for the room, then I would go here, but, I wouldn't go out of my way. Unless I missed some other room full of beer. I asked for a few things I figured would be hard to find and they didn't have them. I found the same beer I was looking for down the road at Appalachian Vintner.

Cozy place in downtown with a good selection and growler fills. It's a small place but well located.

Super friendly staff. It has an impressive selection of locals and other beers from all over. The staff are extremely friendly, and ready to lend a helping hand. I could not be happier that this is my local beermonger.

I was pretty impressed...very nice selection of imports and local beers...nice vibe to the store, the guy working there was knowledgeable and helpful, I will definitely go back, there's even a nice little parking lot right next to it, which is nice to have downtown

a smaller store with a great selection Brusin only sells beer, as you walk in on the wood floors you get a sense that this place sells what you are looking for if your in town and need some brew for your room this is the store to go to have great selection of local, regional and imported beer i like that you may break any sixer or 4pk to create your own sixer i ended up getting 2 6pks of various local brew like green man foot hills catawaba pisgah and some regional like ska sweetwater allagash store is a little hard to find but worth the effort
