This just looked like a grocery store in the middle of nowhere, but it had the promise of Stone RIS. It didn't have it, it had a small selection of good beers from Stone and a little bigger selection of microbrews from neighboring states. The giant aisle wide beer selection was all macro and a lot of it. I walked by it and it took a while, the whole time wondering where the beer was. Nobody was there at all to help, nobody. I doubt they would know anything anyway. Overall it was a big dissapointment and a waste of time.

update mid 2013:
Wise way was bought by Ultra, the grocery store chain. Nothing left except maybe 2 or 3 real beers. If you are buying groceries and want something for the party, they may have a 6-pack for a reasonable price, but don't go there for any reason other than groceries. Go next door to Wise Guys for real beer.
Wise Way is the grocery store on the corner of Taft and 93rd. As you walk in, head to the back of the store. There is a microbrew section on the back wall, left hand side. There are about six shelves 15 feet wide of nothing but microbrews.
They have AT LEAST 3 different offerings from the following breweries:
Bells / Kalamazoo
You will also find apperances of:
As a bonus, look on the bottom shelf for sampler packs. They sometimes have the World Class beverages (the distributor) variety packs with 6 different beers in a 12 pack. World class has also put together a few samplers I have seen nowhere else. Between 4 and 6 varities in a 12 pack. I got a 12 pack of the following selections:
Breckenridge (4 styles x3)
Clipper City (heavy seas series - very nice brews!) (4 styles x3)
Barley Island (6 styles x2)
Rockies Brewing Company (4 styles x3)
Update Feb 2008: The samplers are fairly uncommon, I've seen one every 2 months or so, but it is nice when they have them.
I'm not a big imports fan, but they have a fair selection on the back wall:
Unibroue (they had La Terrible!)
Brouwerij Huyghe (3 delirium varities!)
Spaten (optimator 12 packs for $12.99!)
Also go through the macro-brew asile behind you. About half way down you will find 3 or more styles from:
Update Feb 2008: Yes, the macro aisle is HUGE. bummer. But, nestled in the middle are still the half dozen listed above. You can even get Sierra Nevada Porter, which I can't seem to find at those 3 specialty liquor stores.
And in the macro asile they had everything you would expect and more
...so, when you just HAVE to go to the grocery store for a gallon of milk, make it this one, wander to the back and make it worth your while. Thank the management for having the micros so they know we are glad they exist... (no, I have nothing to do with the store, I don't even know who the managers are).
Update, early 2008: Note that this is a grocery store. There are very few stores in northwest indiana who specialize in microbrewed beers. I can name 3 liquor stores in a 20 mile radius that have micros available. This grocery store beats all other liquor stores except for those 3. Don't go out of your way to expect a micro-brew bonanza. Do stop in if you are in the area looking to try a different or interesting micro brewed beer at a very reasonable price. They still have the brands listed above plus Brooklyn and Mad Anthony. Not much else has changed, though. They are keeping what is listed above available, though, so don't go in expecting much more than that. Do go in expecting the list above, which is probabably better than the closest dozen liquor stores.

So this place is actually the Pay-Low grocery store that is in the plaza where WiseGuy's is located...
There is honestly no reason to here for beer because of the proximity to such a great store, unless you wanted to grab a quick 6er while doing your grocery shopping.
The beer aisle runs the the depth of the store-- beer takes up 90% of the left hand side, while wine (and a small magazine section) lies on the right.
Here's what I see as I walk down the aisle (I won't list lite versions etc, but if I add 'products' after the brand, assume there are different versions available);
Blue moon products
Sam Adams products
New Belgium products
Miller and Coors cans and bottles of all products
Bud cans and bottles of all products
Not a bomber or 750 in sight... Though there are a couple 40 oz bottles...
There is no beer in coolers.
So... My conclusion;
Do not waste your time. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to stop here. WiseGuys is located about 100 yards south and has a much better selection and better prices.
