a surprising little store. Country Liquors is in an unassuming little plaza on Rt 195 as you head towards UCONN, in the same plaza as a 7-11. i wasnt expecting much, but being on the clock and on the road i figured id give it a shot, cant resist an opportunity to get paid to buy beer. as withh all other liquor stores, wine and liquors are the majority, but the beer selection was quite good. several coolers with the usual suspects, guinness, sam adams, and the BMC's plus the New England usual suspects Harpoon and Magic Hat. what i didnt expect, but found was things like Olde Burnside, Clipper City, Unibroue, Cisco, Sea Dog, and i believe Gritty McDuffs. plus some others that my memory fails to recall. there was even an aisle for craft beer, though severely depleted it showed promise. a worthy stop in the area, not far from WIlibrew, check it out, and review it before it gets deleted

Nice place to go but I think the selection is very limited and mainly what you can find at almost any other store, but it is nice to see all the local beers here. The service was good, I had a question and the man working answered it no problem. The prices were pretty good for a place around Tolland. Not as expensive as down the road in Storrs. It was about 1-2bucks less per six pack at this place than in Storrs which is why I will go here for certain things, but the selection is kind of small. The new Worldwide Wine Cellar across the street has a better selection for beer at similar costs.
