650 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - No head. No collar. Black body.
Smell - Seems to be more oxidized than the Buffalo Trace. More cardboardy. Bourbon.
Taste - Bourbon comes through more. Tingly oak and booze. Some chocolate. Fruity booziness.
Mouthfeel - Low carbonation. Boozy and medium bodied.
Overall - Decent, but maybe it hasn't aged as well as the Buffalo Trace version.

Thanks for 4DAloveofSTOUT for sharing both versions of this at our tasting group.
Appearance: Black & Opaque
Smell: Bourbon Barrel with Vanilla notes
Taste: Bourbon, Dark Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla. Definitely has a boozy heat on the back end.
Mouthfeel: No Carbonation noticeable. Not really as smooth or well blended as the Buffalo Trace version.
Overall: I prefer the Buffalo Trace version of this beer. The Evan Williams reviewed here lacked the overall smoothness and complexity. The flavors were good overall but just below the BT. I'd have given this closer to a 4.25 overall had it been an option while the BT Version a solid 4.5
No matter both of these beers are great offerings from a brewery totally new to me. Would love to seek out more of either of the Zeke's Stouts.

Thanks to Danilo for this beer!
reviewed side by side with Buffalo Trace Zekes.
reviewed from notes taken last night 1/9/12.
Appearance: black bodied beer with a medium brown head that is a thin cap receding to a ring.
Smell: Wood, bourbon, vanilla, and caramel.
Taste: Vanilla, bourbon, oak, bakers cocoa, char, leather, molasses, and brown sugar. This starts sweet and finishes moderately bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied beer with low carbonation. Not quite as smooth and finishes with a little bit of heat and burn.
Overall: This is a nice offering from a small colorado brewery! Small bottle count and sold in only one store in Colorado; I dont think that too many people know about this beer. This beer has got decent complexity, but flavors are a little less integrated and its hotter/less smooth that the Buffalo Trace barrel Zeke. The Buffalo Trace is my clear preference of the two bottles of Zekes Belly up Impy Stout.

Note: this version was aged in 10yr old Evan Williams. Batch 03
Pours dark brown, dark cola. Black looking in the glass with tarnished ruby edges. No head. Not a bit. Hmmm..
Aroma is rich, although not as complex as the Buffalo Trace. Caramel and vanilla. Woody a bit. Cocoa, sweet. Wet leather. Juicy black plum
Flavors match the aroma. The fruit comes out a bit more in place of the cocoa. Bourbon is a bit weaker than the BT version. Doesn't seem as hot either. Highly drinkable.
Problem is carbonation. It seems flat. Lack of head indicates this. Leaves a bit thin and dry. Otherwise a great beer!
