look: 4 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4 | overall: 4

Appearance: Fairly hazed, pale copper-hued body with an inch of near white foam delivering some good lacing on the way down.

Smell: Beyond the base of pale malts and thin hint of implied sweetness are some great, inviting notes of florals, fresh fruit, mown, dried grasses. A thin sliver of resin, too.

Taste: Biscuity pale malts, some treacle, some mild honey. Delightfully fruity, floral, with tastes of lemon, sweet Valencia oranges, even a little mango. Medium bitterness. The fruitiness and floral aspects soothe, allowing a bit of grassiness to show. Soft, bittersweet, fruity finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. There's some fluffiness to the mouthfeel.

Overall: Some IPA's are hard to even tolerate with the bitterness punching you in the face the entire time. Not so with Iron Horse. Ample bitterness, sure, but it allows some great hop flavors to emerge. (886 characters)
