Pours a fairly typical clear amber with a decent white head. Aroma is typically malty but slightly fruity. Flavor fills the mouth, being typically malty but with a nice fruity undertone and a hop-bitter hint. This is no ordinary lager, or Oktoberfest. Smoth, tingly, fizzy texture leaves a fruity and slightly bitter finish.

Reviewing from notes- I had this one back in the fall. Poured like a classic amber/marzen with a decent head to start that faded to a ring. Smelled very grainy with some slightly sweet biscuity malt at the end. A very nicely balanced beer, with some rich breadiness, fresh graininess, and some sweet malt flavors. Super smooth in the mouth, and just delightful to drink. A simple pleasure.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, brownish copper body with a bubbly, off-white head.
Smell: Light aroma of toasty Vienna malt with a nice fruitiness and only a touch of caramel and spicy hops.
Taste: A dry, toasted maltiness offers only a mild sweetness. Faint hint of fruit. Light spicy hop character offers a moderate bitterness on the overall toasty finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: You can really taste the authenticity! Paired wonderfully well with the bratwurst, knackwurst, roasted chicken, and schweinhaxen served up for the 5 Seasons North Oktoberfest.
