Nice lacing on a cloudy pale golden body. Aroma is light overall with mostly floral and citrus hop notes. Flavor is matier than the aroma and more malt forward with citrus and herbal noted but not too strong. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Standard pale ale. Not sessionable but highly drinkable and nice hop character.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, pale orange-hued body with a slim coating of an off-white head.

Smell: A bit bready, a bit biscuity with soft albeit inviting scents of citrus, florals and pine.

Taste: As with the nose, 5A runs the fine line between being both bready and biscuity given a few bready drops of sweet golden syrup. Citrusy, hops with lemon and orange, but also allowing some soft floral, piney touches. Just lightly bitter. Remains citrusy on the decidedly crisp finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: An enjoyable, greatly drinkable pale ale.
