This is a very inviting little shop in the middle of Aalborg. The people who
work here seems to be really into the whole beerscene and will gladly answer any question about beer you might have. They keep about 200 brands of beer, many beers from danish microbreweries but also a very decent selection beers from USA and Belgium (including westvleteren!). They also had a free taster when i was there. The guy who was running the shop was really easygoing and made me
feel right at home. For anyone travelling anywhere near Aalborg i highly recommend a visit here. I'll be coming back to this shop in the future for sure.

This is a small beer shop run by a beer enthusiast, who is glad to give advices and information on the products. The interior is inviting with lots of shelves made of dark wood.

The selection of beer is 100% according to the owners taste. Which can be a good and a bad thing: You know that every single beer is a fine beer. But what happens when your taste differs from his? “No, we don’t carry any English bitters. I think they are tedious in general”. I’ll guess that it is the price you have to pay…

The rather low grade for “quality” is because a few of the bottles I bought (not the ones from the bargain shelf) had passed its “best before” date.

When it comes to strong Belgian ales, American IPAs and stouts, the assortment is impressive. They also offer a handpicked selection of Danish and Norwegian micro breweries. A crate of Westvleteren was on display at the counter.

Do I recommend a visit when you are passing Aalborg? Without a doubt! And for those who are into wines, there is a wine-nerd shop next door.
