2008 edition. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a creamy white head. Very good retention of the head. Lots of little sediment particles are suspended in the liquid. Aroma is herbal, with some citrus and tart apples.

This beer doesnt really do it for me. There is some spice, along with some tart fruit and a bit of underlying sweetness. It almost has a skunkiness to it. I dont believe it is really skunked, I just think the combination of the tartness and spice combine for that flavor. Mouthfeel is a bit thin. Finish is dry. I wont try this again.

Poured from a corked & caged 750 mL bottle into a Brewer's Art goblet. Gentle hand. Dated 02/05/2013.

A: Cloudy, golden yellow body with 1+ finger of sudsy, but thick, white head. Good retention. Impressive lacing.

S: Mellow, sweet Belgian yeast with a touch of spice. Coriander. Lighter clove. Grape, pear, apple, peach. Honey. Wheat notes, straw. Vanilla. There is some bubble gum and cotton candy that bring a certain uniqueness to this one.

T: Round, yeasty sweetness with a fruity character. Mild hop bitterness develops. Fairly dry finish and rather clean. A slight bit of lingering fruit on the aftertaste. Low alcohol presence for 10% ABV.

M: Moderately high carbonation with a moderate body. Simultaneously creamy and refreshingly effervescent. The latter helps offset the alcohol.

O: Very nice Belgian blonde with good complexity. Sweet, but lots of character, I thought. All around solid and dangerously drinkable for a 10%er.

Prost!
