Appearance: Deep dark brown with a slight bit of creamy head.
Smell: Strong scent of sweet malt, dark fruits, caramel, and alcohol mingle very nicely.
Taste: Like the nose. Big taste with malt and dark fruits up front. The background is chocolate, caramel, and alcohol and a bit of oak as well. Very nice complex taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied and very creamy. Leaves a nice taste behind that runs the gambit of all the flavors ending with a good amount of alcohol burn. Very nice.
Drinkability: Very good beer with great complexity and great flavor. 11% ABV may limit your amounts, but this is a great beer and definitely worth picking up. Highly recommended.
