First off, best to note that there are two beers going by the moniker Rescousse – one is a pilsner (with a turtle on the bottle) and the other is a red wheat beer (with a fish on the bottle). A portion of sales goes to support wildlife rescue programs in Quebec or Ontario (depending on where you buy your beer).

So then. Pours up clear yellow with a moderate head that quickly settles to a film. Leaves a measure of lace.

Slight aroma of hops. Some skunk. Not much else.

An equally slight taste of hops alongside the sweet taste of corn.

Unremarkable as beers goes, comes across as a pretty typical macro brew.

Noble cause, common beer.
