Straw golden, minimal head. Cereals, light citrus and hops in nose. No surprise in mouth, it tastes pretty much what it smelled with an okay bitterness. Nothing Special I believe this to be my least favorite from the line. Is it me or those beers have been downgraded lately?

Bottle- Charred golden colour with a decent white cap. Aroma is biscuity malts and some grassy/floral hops. Good hop bite albiet a bit watery with the malts and sweetness. Mineral bread finish. I'm willing to give this one a second chance if I see it again.

341ml bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance - pours a clear golden yelow colour with a huge foamy off-white head. There is lots of carbonation and there is a decent amount of lacing left on the glass.
Smell - Hops barley and yeast. Also a sweet corn smell.
Taste & Mouth - Low carbonation on the drink, which is surprising because it looks like there is lots. Comes across as slightly watery. Starts off somewhat dry with some hops and a breadiness and finishes light and refreshing.
Drink - An average beer, probably not something I would buy again.

Gold amber brew with a medium head. Small hopps taste. Nothing distinctive about this one. I had this a couple of year back and the spice taste was much stronger then the one I had recently. This is more of an everyday beer or for a hot summer days beside the pool.

Had on tap in Montreal (Bobards). Pours a clear faint gold, shiny white head, looks like a lot of carbonation, lots of bubbles. Scent is really non-apparant, a bit of grain, not much else. Taste is pleasant, some malty sweetness, mouthfeel is dry, crisp and drinkable. Overall, not bad, average and nothing special.

Bottled....poured a gold hue with orange highlights...well carbonated, 1 finger white cap reduces quickly to a fine ring. Aromas of sweet roasted malt are understated... a whisp of grassy hops. Starts sharp... prickly carbonation of a macro goes a bit creamy when the malts kick in (munich?) -finishes clean with a slight bitterness and drying...not bad, better than the premium macros but certainly lacks the characteristics I like in a Vienna (if it is in fact a vienna) too dry, too pale, not enough malt presence and way too "fizzy"....I put this in a category with St. Andre...a Vienna wannabe that misses.

Probably one of the best of the lot of a mixed case of beers from this brewer, but overall still just an average beer.
Looks good enough. Clear gold with a moderate head that settles to a film. Gives a surprising amount of lace. Gentle aroma of grassy hops and bready malts. Flavour dominated by bitter hops laid down on a decent malt backbone. Finishes metallic with a lingering bitterness. Moderate nothfeel - not watery nor overbearing.
Well put together for an average brew.

pours a clear light orange body with a good size head. smells lightly malty, bready, and a tinge on pils like hops. light flavor overall, easy and smoth. little bit of spice to the hops, well ballanced. Overall just an average pale ale, but beats the hell out of any maco light or maco regular.

This lager pours a clear coppery colour with a thin head..The body is full. The taste is very smooth mellow and refreshing.
Very sweet to the palate with a slight hop finish..I would recomend this beer to those who prefer a sweeter product.
Not a session beer.

Best before end od September 2006. So it is 3 weeks past due. Didn't notice anything off with it and tasted pretty much as I remembered though.
A- Golden amber. Medium head that dissipates. OK bubbliness in the beer. Very clear, no cloudiness.
S- Sweet malt with a slight floral odour. Mild. Somewhat ordinary beer smell overall.
T- Floral and grassy hops bitterness. Mild malt flavour. Like a particularly good macro or slight cut above.
MF- Ordinary, average beer feel. Nothing great.
D- Quite easy to drink. Would ge OK with most food. Not bad, but a little lacking in character.
