While the style is nothing outstanding, it certainly makes for a good refreshing ale that goes down like a euro-lager on a hot summer day.
It pours a clear straw yellow with a head that recedes quickly and little lacing. It started with a bit of skunk that faded and has a bit of a sweet earthy aroma amongst the hop.
Again, this style goes down a lot like a typical euro lager but the style is under an ale. Not much outstanding to the flavour but the feel is refreshing and has a good level of carbonation.
Having gone through half the pint, I appreciate that it is certainly better than an average euro lager: good spicy hops, dry but nicely balanced, and some fruity complexity in the background.
