Found this beer the other day, It was in a 4 pack for $4.95 which I imagine would be on par with other name brand beers if they were in a 4 pack. This beer is brewed in Cologne Germany.

Look: The beer pours a golden straw colored look, a bit on the darker side with a pretty thick head with very little to no hazyness. Something to point out at least in my opinion is that the can looks very sleek
Smell: The primary smells to hit the nose are of white grape along with a light German malt smell.
Taste: I get white grape notes along with light citrus or floral notes, theirs some bitterness at the end. I might also add, that I can taste some maltyness.
Feel: Everything that I am tasting is light in nature, theirs not too much to this beer. Their is some bitterness which seems to get stronger as I start to finish the can, but it doesn't affect the drinkability too much.
overall: This beer to me is basic, its not bad, yet its not great. It sits rights in the middle and has a decent taste. Without looking at the other comments, I almost get a feeling that this beer taste a little watered down to some extent. The AVG rating for this beer is 3.7, which is what I will give it.

What a beautiful looking Kölsch in the stange! Aroma is a bit oddly acidic. This does not follow into the flavors, thankfully, which are robust crackery malt and some honey. finish has a hint of booze. Overall enjoyable, but won't seek out again.

Pours a “typical” clear straw yellow, medium head, and lacing that lingers to the last drop. Slight carbonation. Flavour profile is complex and really is the definition of the Kolsch style. Very near the top of any German, Czech or Austrian beer list in my books.

16oz can

Pours a finger of white head into my Willi. Retention is ok. Lacing is alright. Body is golden yellow, decent clarity, with a modest nucleation. Looks fine.

Sulfur is present when the can cracks, but that quickly disappears. The nose is slightly sweet with a nice bready undertone and hints of honey. Lighter notes of spicy hops, lemon, apple, and peach. Nice blend of hops, malts, and some light esters here. Lovely aroma.

Flavor sees that grain come through, but it quickly blends with the accompanying flavors - apple, peach, and faint hop spice. This leans heavier on the fruit than the hops, which has its pros and cons. Very enjoyable

Carbonation is on the higher side. Light bodied, but the carbonation helps buff that up a bit. A small perceived sweetness in the finish, but this drinks well-attenuated, and somewhat dry. Bitterness is relatively low. It’s a nice, crisp mouthfeel.

Drinkability is good.

Overall a very solid Kolsch.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The brew pours a clear golden straw color with a small head of puffy white foam. The head fades quite quickly leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a bready and yeasty smell mixed with a good showing of caramel and some doughy aromas. Along with these smells comes a bit of herb and grain, as well as a touch of crème and toast.
Taste – The taste begins with a light grainy flavor mixed with a bit of dough and yeast. Along with these flavors comes a little bit of caramel and apricot as well as a bit of herb. As the taste moves forward, there is a little bit of a decrease in the sweet and a little increase in the herb. With a touch more dough and yeast coming to the tongue at the end, one is left with a rather clean and lightly sweetened bready taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is light and crisp with a higher carbonation level. For the style and the abv. the feel is quite nice and makes for a very easy drinker.
Overall - A rather easy drinking and crisp kolsch with a touch more sweetness then normal. Rather flavorful and refreshing.

Vom fass at Gaffel am Dom. My better judgement saved this for the last stop before my train to Stuttgart. It was a decent experience. Waiter was pretty crusty. Place is very touristy, as expected. You can see the huge cathedral through the front windows. Very impressive. Was hoping my last meal and glasses of Kölsch in Köln would be memorable. I should have saved this for a few glasses only. The beer itself is pretty mediocre, a mass produced version by flavor profile. Still tasty and very drinkable. Grainy malt profile is strong and the sweetness is dominant. Overall not bad but too many other great versions in Köln to prefer this.

About 400 ml in a stange at Novare Res in Portland, Maine.

Appearance: Bright golden color with a big frothy, pillowy white head that sticks around a while.

Aroma: Earthy, a little bit of lemonpeel, a little bit of toast.

Taste: Follows the nose. Grain, biscuit, citrus/lemon. A little bit of a grape-type note. Delicious. Dry. Grassy, in the best way.

Mouthfeel: Very light. Easy to drink fast, better to drink slow.

Overall: My first experience with a German kolsh, and I really enjoyed it. I can see why American brewers are so fond of the style. Dry, refreshing, flavorful. Terrific.

I think I remember tasting this on tap in Koln, and fortunately I found a four pack of pint cans at D&Q on a recent trip to Houston. This is my favorite Kolsch available in the US that I have tried so far. Does not taste skunky. Great body and flavor, and goes down easy. Very refreshing.

Earthy, citrusy, zesty goodness. Really refreshing, really sessionable. Just the right crispness and carbonation. Great, classic example of a Kolsch.

Sublime example of the style. Biscuity, balanced, crushable, delicious. Delicate but simple. Harmonious nuances of hop and barley malt. Really perfected recipe, flawlessly executed. A top 10 all time of the style for me.
