330ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a clear dark gold with a one finger white head. Lots of carbonation bubbles rising off the bottom of the glass help keep the head in place for awhile. Just a little bit of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Aroma of bready malt and light caramel dominates along with some cooked vegetables. There is a faint wisp of grassy hops.
The flavor is much like the smell with a quick shot of toast and caramel along with a slight bit of DMS. Bitterness is quick and assertive with just a light amount of grassy hop flavor. Crisp clean mouthfeel that is appropriate for the style.
Overall, a pretty run of the mill kolsch and nothing really spectacular. A beer that is refreshing and easy to drink but not really worth seeking out.
