Golden yellow with an orange hue and an extra fine head.

A malty nose, sweet like toffee in the typical Märzen mode and slightly bready and spicy. A soft lemon- or apple-like fruity note is on the side, along a gentle shade of hops.

A refreshing and bitter tatse with a good hoppy dimension. Fruitiness marks the middle passage and works a juicy teamship with the spicy qualities of the malt. The beer finishes very bitter and moves into a hoppy aftertaste with a dry, woody twist.

Strong carbonation and a medium body, clean feel.

A bitter-sweet Märzen of great intensity.

500ml bottle from The Pot Still, Glasgow:
Amber to caramel brown with a clear body and a thin, bubbly white head on top that holds pretty well as a thick looking lacing.

Sweet malts and basic, grassy hops along with some light vanilla and nondescript fruits. There is a sweet, syrup like aroma to the beer as well.

Sweet malts again wtih some corn and lager hops. There is some caramel too but to be honest this one comes across as a pretty basic beer.

Smooth but quite light with some sweetness. It is however easy to drink and the finish is a very light bitter one.

Not really a beer that I was all that impressed with to be honest. It was drinkable but pretty plain and ordinary.
