This is supposedly the 2nd of the McMenamins empire. Unlike many of their other properties, its just a regular storefront in a strip mall. The interior though is nicely decorated antiquey pub, lots of wood and dim lighting, but not grungy. They have a huge fish tank with lots of brilliant colored fish at the end of the bar, and a few pool tables in the back room. They have a about 20 taps, but they're not always active, at the time it was their standards plus 3 seasonals. They have the IPA and Stout available in 22 oz. bottles as well, $6.50 in-house or $4.25 to go, plus their own brand wine and spirits, with other booze as well. Saw them squeeze fresh fruit juice for a cocktail. The beers are ok, nothing special, mainly good, although I didn't care for their nut brown. Try the Rubinator, which is Stout mixed with their Raspberry pale ale, yummy.
The food is so-so, not a huge selection, and tends to be greasy, but is all quite tasty. Nice and cozy, makes you for get your in a brew-pub chain in a strip mall. Friendly staff as well.
