Brick floor, wooden seats, brass tap board, bottle collection and brewania line the walls, couple of TVs playing the college games. Umbrella tables outside by the street isn't the bier garden setting I've come to expect from the noble G Man.
Good selection of beer, 65 taps, no crap save one Macrowater. Live Oak Hefe, Rahr O'fest, Real Ale Lost Gold IPA and other Texas brews well represented.
Friendly staff, prices were a bit high, but not crazy $4.75 a pint. Place lost a point when people at the bar lit up some cigs. Push those smokers outside, I'm drinking beer here!
A worthy stop on the Ft. Worth beer scene, I think it's a better overall experience than the Flying Saucer at the moment. Time to rise to the challenge FS!

Great Coffee shop meets pub atmosphere. Limited indoor seating but lots of tables outside. Only 2 dart boards but plenty of character and friendly service. The service was a little slow on the night we visited but in their defense they had a large party and a full house of other visitors.

Stopped by on a mid-Friday afternoon. Another chill craft brew spot in FTW.
Since we were in so early, our barkeep was extremely helpul with descriptions and types of beers, offering samples to us visting Coloradans.
Had a nice mix Texas craft brews along with international and US craft staples.
Enjoyed the rustic all-wood look and the couches in the back looked very comforable.
My only complaint was the ability to smoke in the place, which got more annoying as more started sparking up (take that sh*t outside fools, I don't want to be a part of your lung decay).
Aside from the smoking, the atmosphere and selection was top-notch.

Been waiting for a cool day to rate Ginger Man, since it's got a really nice outside area that's unfortunately unbearable June through August. Always a great selection at Ginger Man and they somehow never seem to be out of what they show on the menu. It's a plus that you can purchase their tap beers in pitchers. Food is pretty standard bar faire, good but not great. Servers generally good and helpful but occasionally seem to dissapear without a trace for a half hour at a time. Vibe seems really variable on the half dozen visits I've made - some nights it's almost empty with just a few lonely down and out types sitting at the bar, other nights it's filled to the brim inside and out with young happy professionals. Overall a very enjoyable establishment and seems to get better with every visit.
