arguably the most interesting beer on the menu at this place, a fusion of wheat styles, the german and the belgian, the hefe and the wit. its cool because while it certainly seems to have a hefe yeast, there is orange and coriander in this too, which makes it one interesting beer. the wheat malt is more white than yellow in color, and is real light in the taste, despite some haze to it. it smells like orange for sure, zesty and fresh, not bitter like peel, maybe just dosed aggressively. the flavor is great, with the hefe part coming on strong because of the yeast. banana for sure, but the spice seems to come more from the wit side, although the coriander isnt all that bold. a very refreshing beverage that comes across a little perfumy, but is excellent on the whole. well made, very creative, and probably the most inventive beer going on here. i liked this place a lot, and this one was the favorite of our group.
