12oz snifter at Beer Revolution YEGDT on Sunday Funday! Love the name here, 'cause it's true - even I think this one's weird at the outset.
This beer appears a rather hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with one finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves some decent approaching headland lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of grainy and biscuity pale malt, orange and white grapefruit rind, more muddled, if still pleasant tropical fruitiness, a bit of lager yeast, and some laid-back earthy, leafy, and grassy green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, a lesser caramel sweetness, more mixed domestic citrus peel, a subtle pome addendum, a bit of hard water flintiness, and some plain leafy, weedy, and increasingly perfumed floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly understated in its quotidian frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and generally smooth, with perhaps a touch of the so-far sanguine booze quotient arising. It finishes off-dry, the fruity, caramelized, and now alcohol esters presiding.
Overall - so, this seems to be an amalgam of several Tectonic styles, chiefly a bock, what with the sneaky background 16-proof heat coming in late in the game. A heady, and rather enjoyable offering, all things considered.

Pours - Clear golden yellow color white head not much lacing.
Smell - Lots of grass and hay little earthy. There was also a little floral hints as it warmed a bit.
Taste - Little hop flavor, clean and crisp little bit of citrus flavors as well. I was surprised how well the alcohol was hidden.
Feel - Medium body little bit more carbonation than I liked but very clean finish.
Overall - A solid beer, I like the flavor it was very unique.
