Screamin’ Beaver, an amped up version of our spring seasonal Beaver River, is back by popular demand for a 2011 edition. Only 1,000 bottles of this delicious brew will be available for sale. This monster weighs in at 9.9% ABV and 99 IBUs. Screamin’ Beaver has been dry hopped and aged on oak staves. Even scarier than the stats, this beer is incredibly drinkable and nicely balanced. Be very afraid.

Got this beer in the Beau's best of 2015 pack.As much as I find this a pretty tasty beer I can see where some people might find it offensive so I'll try and be through here.
Appearance - This beer pours a deep cloudy caramel amber with 2 fingers off white head, the head fades leaving a thick film over the top. Carbonation seems to be fairly lively.
Aroma - The aroma has a strong oak smell, pretty normal considering its oak aged, followed up by caramel malts, floral hops, pine hops, light citrusy smell in the very back.
Taste - the oak flavor is strong, almost as if a drop of scotch was added for good measure. this is followed up by caramel malts again extremely strong, caramel and oak overpower this beer giving it a very smooth malty taste. the next thing I taste would be the hops, Their balanced out well with the malt so there not ridiculously bitter but I get floral hops some pine bitterness and lastly very light grapefruit.
Feel - the body isnt exactly full but it leans more in that Direction. and it has a very smooth creamy feel, It is very dry on the end with a light lasting bitterness. The alcohol content of 9.9 percent is very well hidden.
Overall - This is one of the more interesting double IPA's Ive tried, aging it in oak has brought out some very interesting flavor profiles and the booze is well hidden, Its oddly smooth for an IPA but still has that IPA feel. wow this is a complex one. enjoy.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a giant head with great retention (also a little bit of gushing was noticed which makes me wonder if the bottle was infected). Aroma of caramelized malt with earthy hops is OK. Taste is dominated by sweet caramelized malt with some earthy hops notes. Body is pretty full with lots of carbonation. I don’t like IIPA with too much caramel malt so I can’t say I really enjoyed that one.

Received as part of a gift for Christmas. Served chilled into a pint glass. Bottled November 21, 2013.
Appearance - Clear golden / copper brown with reddish hues. An impressive three plus fingers of head that takes a while to dissipate. Beautiful streaky lacing down the glass and the ivory head forms into a neat little cap.
Smell - Some sweetness from the oak aged nature of this beast.other than that some faint earthiness but not much else.
Taste - Starts with some faint sweetness from the oak aged barrels. Also some earthiness shines through here. After that it transitions to a rather bitter flavour. Very earthy tasting of pine and spruce as opposed to anything citrusy. Rather smooth transition, but was expecting more hop flavour given the 99 IBUs. Very restrained.
Mouthfeel- Very smooth for an IPA. The bitterness leaves slight tingling on the tongue and has a dry finish works well here with the earthy flavour profile.
Overall - A fine beer the alcohol is exceptionally well hidden but was expecting a slightly more bold profile especially in the nose and on the taste buds. We'll executed and very smooth.
