This place is a beer drinker's heaven. prices range from 7 dollars for stouts to $10 for a 12oz bottle of 3 philosophers. The beer is fresh and varied. I mean, they've got everything from racer 5 to keegans mothers milk.
food was pretty good, I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with a side of fries and was very happy with my order (although the fries were REALLY salty). Not exactly cheap, but not overpriced.
the bartender seemed genuine and interested in the banter between my friends and I and made sure we didnt have to wait to long between beers.
Got really crowded when we left, but it was a friday night in the city
Overall worth the stop and will be going back

This place was more of a huge dive bar for a younger crowd. There was a ton of people when I was here but it was during the St paddys day parade so most places were packed. It seemed almost like a college bar but the place is very big. It has threee diferent roms, all with bars and tvs showing multiple sports games. Not sure if I would go back though. Think I';m getting too old for places lke that.

Snuck in hear for a beer while my wife shopped down the street.
Small corner bar with lots of TVs showing ESPN, pretty quiet inside on a Tuesday mid afternoon.
They advertise having something like 100 beers, but when I sat down and looked at the bottle list it was pretty uninspiring. I had a draft of Sweet Action from Sixpoint. It was pretty blah, and I suspect that either the taps were dirty, and/or the beer was poorly stored/cared for.
Server was disinterested, and not super helpful when I asked for the draft list. (she pointed to the handles)
Selection was ok, they had a lot, but nothing great.
Overall, I'd pass this place by if in the area.

I hate having found the one review for this bar as mediocre. I'm not lashing out against the fellow BA who probably had a bad experience here, but I can claim only to have good things to say about this place.
I actually stumbled upon it trying to find a place to watch the UCL semi finals between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. given it was less popular than Nevada ___'s down the street, I had no trouble finding a table right off at this place, although just a few minutes before it became packed with other footer fans.
I'll give ya a football match can enhance the environment of any place but I got the prematch feel as well of a decent place, not necessarily keen on being pegged a 'beer bar' right off and it definitely is not a beer geek's paradise by any means. They're obviously beyond just beer but not shy to come forward when it counts. sunny day and the place was quite brightly lit since it's a corner bar with windows for walls for the most part. I actually enjoy the spring sunlight so that further helped.
Service was in the hands of one single waitress for perhaps 10 or 12 tables at the front. But I gotta hand it to her, in a rowdy champions league matchup, she delivered impeccably and with hardly any delay further than the usual you'd expect. She earns her pay and tip I tell ya, I was served 3 beers and the bill with hardly any trouble, and she was looking out for me (and I guess everyone else) as soon as my glass was reaching the 'E'.
The selection is good at the least. They carry some 80-90 beers among which i'd say at least 25-30 taps. Sure as hell, they carry a few mainstream beers to suit all audiences but the selection clearly focuses on decent if not good beer for the most part, including domestic and imported beers. I had some Kona, a Duvel Green and a Goose Island 312- I believe all 3 aren't easy finds in manhattan but I may be wrong.
Didn't try the food (just had lunch before I got there).
Overall I really liked this place and am willing to go back on a regular day. I'm sure the selection is worthy of it and the service is good, and their food menu looked tasty.

Had a couple of beers here the other night. Tv's everywhere, a bar to the left and tables to the right. Everything in here looks new and unused. This is not what I like out of my beer bar. they had a decent but not great tap selection. All of the choices were either foreign macros, macros or high profile craft breweries. Nothing too exotic. The bottled selection seemed decent though as there were a number of Belgians available. Nothing too out of the ordinary though.
This place has that TGIFridays chain feel to it. This is something not needed in NYC.
If you are in the area, there are much better places to spend your $$$.
