Appearance: Reminds me of Hoegaarden. Very nice.

Smell: Bananas, cloves, some pepper. A good standar wheat beer.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Beats Blue Moon, a Colorado wheat competitor, that's for sure. Good, solid mouthfeel as well. The malt and spice notes are well-balanced.

Drinkability: Not quite as good as Falcon Pale Ale.

Overall: The second best in Denver Airport. (367 characters)

On tap at the Denver airport.

Hazy orangish golden pour with a small white head that fades.

Wheat dominates the aroma, rather Belgian in the yeastiness with some orange peel.

Wheaty and orangey flavor, decent, with coriander and spices. Definitely in the Blue Moon vein here, but not as poorly done.

Medium body with average carbonation.

A step above something like Blue Moon or whatnot, but not a standout. (413 characters)

A: Pours a chilled haze yellow/orange color. A small head forms, and recedes to a ring. Light lace is left.
S: Spicy clove and banana. Slight yeast. Nothing else.
T: Follows the nose. Banana, clove, and yeast.
M/D: A lighter body than I like, and over carbonated. Not hard to drink, but not something I would come back to.

Just average and bland. Inoffensive. Next. (366 characters)

A hazy, almost pasty yellow. Head was soapy and not foaming like other Hefes.
Smell? no smell. A bit surprising for a Hefe.
Taste is bland, a bit of lemon peel. Bad butterscotch (let's hope it's the lines) smack to it. This seems an old Pale. Could not finish (262 characters)

Brewed with a Trappist strain, and it shows. No yummy earthiness or light fruits. Instead, phenolic and a bit of spice. Would pass for a lightweight wheat triple, but I don't know why this is marketed as a wit. Pours a hazy dark gold, and served with an unnecessary orange slice. Hops are a bit too strong and the orange in the brew tastes sweet. Full body but unlively wheat flavor. An uninspired deviation from the wit style. (427 characters)

Sampled at the brewery in Denver, CO. Cloudy, ruddy light caramel in color with a thin white head with poor retention and lacing. Aroma is faintly fruity american style wheat sans cloves or bananas. Carbonation is mild. Mouthfeel is smooth and wet with a crisp finish. Taste begins with potent, unbalanced herbal hops, followed by wheat husk and sweet corn. The potent floral bitterness is also unbalanced. Out of style and overhopped for my liking. (449 characters)

Bottle from Rock Bottom in Denver: This beer is a hazy dark orange/gold color with a medium off-white head with decent retention. Sour, vinegar aroma similar to the Buffalo Gold. Medium-bodied with a soapy texture and stale fruit and malt flavors. The finish is watery and tangy to the point of giving me the chills. Another drain pour. (336 characters)

This hefeweizen pours an opaque golden so it looks rather like honey. Aroma is average strength, wheaty with a hint of orange. Flavor is strong and wheaty and has undertones of orange and banana. Texture is smooth and satisfying. Refreshing after a hot day. (257 characters)
