Medium-bodied and copper in color, this pale ale has a traditional hop profile that creates both a citrus spice and earthy quality.

On-tap at the brewery; a surprisingly good pale. Nice full hop flavor with some clove/citrus to balance the hops. The beer is pale with little head and a nice hop smell. Not quite as strong as a weak IPA, but surprisingly full for a pale. Interesting brew and very easy to drink at 5%

White Tail Pale Ale was light amber in color with a short off-white head that left some spotty lacing behind. The smell was lightly hoppy. The taste was lightly toasted malt upfront with more hop flavor and bitterness coming through more towards the finish. The mouthfeel was good with a medium-light body and carbonation. Drinkability was good. White Tail is a good, but quite tame pale ale. It would be a good beer to introduce someone to the world of craft beer.

If you're looking for a lighter beer to drink or one to compliment a chicken dinner the White Tail is the way to go.

The aroma and taste are slightly fruity and pleasant. It goes down the gullet very smooth and has a flavor that states it's a beer crafter with care.

The pint was served a little too cold in a room temperature glass. Clear, orange-infused amber with a small, off-white head that resulted in very little lace. The smell was muted and was of earthy, fruity hops.

The flavor featured fruity, slightly spicy hops, but they were too much in the background. Even at near room temperature the flavor could have been more pronounced. WTPA was nicely bitter and actually seemed more like an English bitter than an APA. The mouthfeel was on the thin side and the finish was short, bordering on watery.

White Tail Pale Ale was a pretty good complement to a Greek-style pizza, but it certainly didn't impress me when judged on its own merits.
