Appearance Arrived yellow-orange with a white, one-finger head with better than average retention and thick droopy lacing.
Smell Very spicy, hoppy smell. Certainly late, aromatic hops, if not dry hopped.
Taste Theres quite a lot in the taste. Fruits esters from the yeast come out early with citrus, orange-peel flavors and are quickly followed by sharp, fresh citric hops flavors and hop oil hints. The finish is neither too long, nor too short and is nicely bittered by the hops.
Mouthfeel This beer has a chewy and coarse feel and is medium-bodied and thoroughly rich.
Drinkability This is a crisp, memorable Autumn beer than Ill remember and look for again. Highly recommended.
Serving type: on-tap
