Nice roasted grain twang, charcoal flavour gives a soft bite. Impeccably smooth and along with that is an awesome head that leaves thick rings of lace down the glass. Splash of sweetness and the stable medium body shows this stout has some girth in comparison to most dry stouts.

Opaque, black w/ an awesome coffee coloured head that has plenty of stay. Aroma is milky, earthy and roasted. Silky smooth texture, earthy, touch of metallic, buttery background and an even roasted astringency.

Quite the impressive brew ... and very lovely on the nitro.

Here is a stout that rivels the big three from Ireland. It starts with an impressive natural head that leaves great lace. The color is nearly black.

The aroma, which is always hard to detect with a full pour, features the roasted malts of traditional stouts (black patent and chocolate malt). The smell predominately chocolate.

The flavor is coffee with chocolate--a mocha beer. The only average rating comes from the body, which to me is more moderate than I'd ever expect. I like the cocoa aftertaste.

This is an excellent entry into the stout world.

Again I am impressed by the quality of stouts at this location. Nice long draught in a 22 ozer deep black with a sticky thick foam head. The aroma is relatively dry and roasted. The first sip shows a rather thick body for the style and a nice roasted flavor balanced by a mellow malt sweetness that just touches the palate. I found this one to be very drinkable, which can pose a danger for some with the increased ABV.
