Cloudy straw gold with a nice white lace, and ample retention. Clean aroma. Medium bodied, malty, biscuity/bready, fruity which meets with fizzy carbonation, touch of mineral, sharp, crisp, dry and citric.

A bloody fantastic American Wheat made with 40% Wheat in the grist, along with Munich and Vienna malts. Nice and refreshing.

Hugely cloudy, orangish dark gold. Liquid Sunshine looked like iced tea to which a few splashes of orange juice had been added. The off-white head was less than one finger by the time the glass reached me; in other words, the usual bar pour. The foam departed quickly, leaving a melty monk's fringe on a bald pate. Thankfully, the color of the beer made up for any shortcomings of head and lace. Clarity, schmarity, give me unfiltered any day of the week.

Although the nose was weak, what was there wasn't bad. It was wheaty, appley and just a mite lemony. I turned down the proferred lemon wedge, so it wasn't as lemony as it might have been. Keep your fruit out of my beer please.

Liquid Sunshine was nothing all that special on the palate, but it was an okay wheat ale. The centerpiece was very lightly toasted wheat malt (natch). I also picked up an unmistakable appley flavor that I've found in other beer from this brewpub. For want of any knowledge to the contrary, I'll give credit to the yeast strain.

The beer was minimally hoppy with a light spiciness and almost no bitterness. It was also lightly sweet, which took 'crisp' out of the equation. A spunky amount of carbonation kept it from feeling overly soft in the mouth, as some wheats tend to be.

Liquid Sunshine is a friendly, extremely easy to drink American pale wheat ale that lacks a memorable personality; a common occurrence with beer of this style. I imagine that it would go with all manner of foods (on the plus side), but the somewhat mild flavor would be easily lost with just about anything that it was paired with (on the minus side). Best to enjoy it solo, with a companion of course, on a hot summer day. Alfresco if possible.

A very nice Hefe that is quite good looking and delivers a nice flavor for warm weather. The body is a very pale yellow with a nice white head and incredibly sticky lacing. The nose is mostly malty, but quite weak, not very impressive at all. The flavor is all about the wheat with a small clove sense, but mostly of the wheat. Altogether enjoyable, yet quite average in the end. A nicely dry and crisp finish.

Served in an American pint glass with a slice of lemon. Cloudy pale golden straw, there were showings of good head retention but the lemon killed that right away. Solid but neutral malty note with hints of yeast and fresh grain in the nose. Deeply rounded and well textured crispness, moderate body. Spicy wheat flavour and a spicy kiss of hops, bit of nutty yeast on the palate that seems to meld well with the hop bitterness. Other than that the flavour is quite mild. Very refreshing and quite appropriate for the on coming warmer weather.

Pale yellow in color with a nice mildly sweet finish. Not too bitter. Overall a nicely drinkable beer.
