Pours a clear gold with 1 finger of foamy white head into a Mug Club Mug. Good retention and lacing. Smells of honey, toasted grains, Pils malt, citrus, and grass. Tastes of lemon, toasted grain, honey, and grassy hops in the finish. Medium to medium-light body with nice carbonation. Clean with a crisp and nicely bittering finish. Refreshing, goes down easily.

Czech Mate Pilsner (KOP- Rock Bottom)

A- Bright yellow, clear, very bubbly and a small soapy head.
S- Sweet lemon wheat grass with big notes of cracked grains.
T- Fresh grains, bread crust, and a touch of honey lemon.
M- Sweet and a touch citrusy up front with a dry hoppy finish.

Overall- Delicious and easy to drink on a 99 degree day! Very smooth!

On tap at the brewpub.

Pours a hazy pale gold with a finger of creamy brite-white head. Very good retention that left huge sheets of lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma is mellow sweet malts, light hoppiness, citrus notes, and a yeasty smell that for some reason kept reminding me of eggs. Very strange.

The taste is a mellow malt backbone with a crisp hop bite and some citrus character in the back. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a clean and crisp feel.

This wasn't a bad, with a crisp feel and great drinkibility. I was just expecting a little more in the hop department for a Czech Pils. It's still an easy go to though for a refreshing break from the shopping at the KOP mall.

Appearance: Golden nearly metallic with quickly dissapating head. Spotty camaflage lacing.

Nose: Nuts like cashews and peanuts and Saaz sweaty spice.

Tastes: Attack is Saaz hops along with finish. There's a nice layer of chewiness in the finish as well reminiscent of the cashews in the nose. Lingering hop finish.

Mouthfeel: Full round and bristling. I can't ask for anything more from a pilsner.

Drinkabilty: High if just a tad too sweet for me. I mean it isn't "sweet" but I detect a little more sugar than I'd like.

On tap at the KoP location.

Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grassiness, lightly spicy, and light citrus. Tastes of the same; grass, some spiciness, and some citrus. Refreshing on a hot day but not memorable.

This beer was a solid czech pilsner. A nice, light gold body with a decent lacing; no significant head to report. The lacing holds for the majority of the beer. The smell is pretty malty, but nothing overbearing. The taste was about the same. The taste was kind of bitter with malty hints and a malty aftertaste. The mouthfeel was a little thin, but that's ok since it's a pilsner. The beer is very drinkable. A nice solid pilsner that's easy drinking and refreshing. Definitely worth a try.

Unfiltered Czech Pilsner (Keller)

A: Hazy dark straw with a large fluffy white head and plenty of retention and lacing.

S: Strong grassy, earthy and floral notes with a bit of malt and grain hints.

T: Floral hops and spice dominate the flavor. There is plenty of earth and grassy flavors as well. There is a bit of alcohol in the finish.

M: Medium body and dry but not really crisp on the finish. Good carbination.

D: This would be a great dinner pils but a bit too much spice and alcohol flavors to drink all night.

I had this pint at Rock Bottom in King of Prussia, Pa.
Appearance: A little head that was white, a straw body with good retention, great lacing.
Smell: Light malt smell with a nice bite, that was rather unexpected.
Taste: Similar to the smell, but that malt was much heavier, and the hop bite was much more pronounced.
Mouthfeel: To style, crisp and ridgid.
Drinkability: Freaking awsome, I'm a hophead and this has to be the best Pilsener I have ever had, and it doesn't even go out of style to accomidate me.
Don't drink and review.
