look: 4 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5

Appearance: This brew pours a medium amber. The head is moderate in height but fairly thick in nature. Lacings are moderate and spiderwebbing is consistant on the surface for the duration of the drink. Good job.

Smell: A rather earthy malt/hop feel that has citrus overtones. Interesting but not excellent.

Taste: During onset, there is a dominate hop presence. This tapers to a very smooth malt presence that persists through sustain. Citrus is there, but it doesn't come into its own until the hop and malt flavors taper. The interesting thing is that the citrus presence comes "just in time" to clear the palate. This is not Rock Bottom's best selection, but it is very close.

Mouthfeel: This brew rolls on the tongue very well. There is just enough hop bite to make the taste experience very good. The pine presence amit the hop bitterness merge quite well. This is a very good full bodied brew. Good job on this recipe.

Drinkability: The use of high quality ingredients is obvious....but I have come to expect this from Rock Bottom. I have been consistantly impressed with the smooth and drinkible presence of Rock Bottom, and this brew follows the same character. This brew would be GREAT if it was available in bottles commercially. Hopefully Rock Bottom will make the jump into commercial brewing. And what better place than right here in Cincinnati!!!!
