Pours cloudy light orange with very little head. Smells a little fruity with a slight tartness. The taste took me aback, i expected a lot of Apricot, but it was tart with a fruity flavor that i couldn't determine with nice brett slight sourness, this beer is incredibly tasty but very controlled with a slight oaky finish. I wish i had time for more. seek this one out my friends, as it spent 1 year in an oak barrel it wont be around for long!

Served in a 12 oz. snifter for $7.

Opaque orange body, a compact film of white foam that lingered for a bit and became a broken skim fading into a ring at the edge. Restrained wild Brett and oak in the nose, winey and lightly sweet apricot notes. Moderate tartness in the first sips that is reminiscent of lambic and white wine. The apricot is clear in the flavor, and is complimented by the crisp tartness. The Brett funk was restrained but expressed itself with some horseblanket elements. Towards the end of the glass it seemed to lose a little carbonation, and the full slickness was slightly overwhelming. All in all it was an enjoyable sour ale that showed alot of promise. Hopefully this is a sign of a new direction for Rock Bottom, the barrel aged beers are among the brewer's most accomplished.
