For me, the balance of hoppy to malty, as well as the overall flavor is reminiscent of Great Divide's Titan IPA. Very tasty!

12 oz tap-pour into an American Tumbler at Rock Bottom
A - The tap pour is weak. As close to the rim as it can get with no head. What's there is a thin tan foam on a totally hazed amber-orange color. A teeny bit of lacing stuck around trying to show it has something there, it's just not allowed to let loose.
S - It even smells super cold like the glass feels... The aroma is of crisp hops that are both floral and bitter. The malt base is solid and lightly toasted.
T - The flavor has a solid toasted malt base with a big hoppy flavor of pine, grapefruit citrus, and a dry, bitter finish.
M - Smooth and medium in body, it's instantly bitter like crazy with a harsh dry finish.
D - It's a solid IPA that I wish I could pour myself and enjoy in a setting conducive to rating a beer...but such is life. Good for a knockaround IPA while you're out but for over $5 a pint, not so good.
