Gordon Biersch FestBier celebrates fall and the flavor profile of beers served at the modern-day Oktoberfest. FestBier emphasizes rich, malty undertones with a moderately hoppy finish. The maltiness is created via a combination of dark-roasted, Munich-style malt and Pilsner malt. The hoppy aroma is achieved via the imported Hallertau aroma hops.

On tap at some Gordon Biersch restaurant at the San Jose airport. Pours golden orange with a big lacy white head. Aroma is bready malts with a citrusy twang. Flavor is similar, mostly bready with a bright orangey note. Sweet and thin but drinkable enough.

Enjoying a pint at the Glendale, AZ location today 9.27.2018 for $5.25.
Beer was served golden with a solid white head.
Nose is grainy and bready.
Taste follows the nose, bready with some cracker finishing with a spicy noble hop tingling.
Mouthfeel is crisp, clean, and refreshing.
Overall an enjoyable fest lager.

Yellow beer, half inch of white head that gets the F outta dodge pretty quick. Mild, underplayed aromas, almost nothing beyond grain, mildly toasted. Mild Mild Mild. I need another adjective. Now I have that adjective song from Mr. T Experience stuck in my head.
Its an easy going beer with slightly more, toastier malt than BMC, the wheat giving it a craft edge so you can put a slice of ___ citrus fruit in your glass. Has a place in the world.
