Made a trip up to Round Rock Saturday to check out this store. After you make it through many aisles of wine and spirits, four lengthy, open coolers contain a good spread of American craft beer, plenty of beers from Belgium, Germany, and England, and macro. 12 oz. singles are available for a number of beers, and if I go back, it would be for the mix-a-six opportunity.

Just a few room-temp displays on the floor, which disappointed me, but they did have Stone IRS on display with a bit of a sale. Also, a set of shelves sits in a back corner with room-temp 750s, and a wooden shelf of random 12 oz. singles is near the front.

Selection was as good as you'll find in the area, especially for a store of this size. I picked up 750s of Boulevard Long Strange Triple and Sixth Glass quad. Prices were a little higher than at Spec's but not unreasonably high.

Definitely worth the trip if you're closer to this store than a Spec's. (932 characters)

Stopped here for the first time 29 May 2010.

Pretty good selection, but they were out of most of the Southern Star though and only carried a couple of Independence beers. Good selection of a number of Colorado micros. Found St. Arnold's root beer and got a sixer. Did not really carry many beers I have not seen elsewhere in the area (e.g. Whip In, Central Market). Found their prices slightly less than at Specs (5-10%). Was asked once if I needed help.

Rosie's pho next door was pretty good for lunch.

Would go back if I was in the area. (542 characters)

I was at the Dell training facility (other side of the i-35) last week on training and stopped by to pick up a few beers not available to me on the west coast. The selection here was excellent! The guy at the checkout was also a beeradvocate member and quite knowledgeable about beers. I brought a few colleagues that I met in class in with me and being from Canada, they were impressed in finding many of thier local beers here. We walked out after spending a small fortune and had a great time beer tasting in the hotel lobby that evening. This will be a definite stop each and everytime I visit. I think we cleared them on out on their FDH 120 stock.

Great store, decent prices, and excellent help. (703 characters)
