Bottle: Poured a hazy dark blonde color ale with a giant pure white foamy head with excellent retention and great lacing. Aroma of rustic malt notes with light dry floral ester and herbal notes is just about perfect. Taste is a super well balanced mxi of rustic notes with light peppery notes, some herbal undertones and dry light hoppy finish with long sharp aftertaste. Body is full enough for style with excellent carbonation and no apartment alcohol. This is truly a great saison from a remarkable brewer.

750ml Bottle at the Ottawa end of year Tasting

Appearance - Gold colour with an average size frothy off-white coloured head. There is a low amount of carbonation showing and there is some fair lacing on the sides of the glass. The head lasted for close to 3-4 minutes before it began to dissipate.

Smell - Malts, bananas, peach, coriander/clove, yeast

Taste & Mouth - There is an average amount of carbonation and I can taste fruit flavours; oranges/peaches/lemons/bananas, mixed with dry yeasty notes.

Overall - A nice very drinkable and refreshing beer. An interesting take on the style.
