Atmosphere: With original art on the walls, nice lighting, an attractive bar set-up and kick ass music normally sourced from the IPOD's of the staff. Free pool tables too! Everything from business men to old Seattle hippies. Kick ass place to have a few.

Quality: Everything is quality, there is lots of good stuff on the menu and on tap.

Service: Absolutely exceptional, the staff is made up with kind people and the owners are often there working the bar. These are people who genuinely care about their bar and their customers.

Selection: with quite a few beers on tap and some in bottles as well the selection is great for a local bar. They don't have hundreds of beers but they have a respectable tap list and they rotate them often

Food: I really like the Prawn Quesadillas and the pita plate. All good food

value: how can you argue with 3 dollar micro taps on tuesdays?

I went to this establishment with a friend who knew the bartender and had low expectations going in to it. But as sometimes happens, low expectations creates a nice contrast when you find it otherwise. In the end I was impressed by two things. I enjoyed its simplicity; a couple of pool tables, a dozen on tap, one waiter, one bartender, bar stools around a crescent shaped bar. It's the kind of place I want to watch a baseball or football game at. I just moved from Chicago and the Clark St Ale House was that for me. And the second reason was that the beers on tap were well thought out; Damnation by Russian River, one with Mate tea in it which name escapes me, some locals. Not a blow your mind amazing joint, but a place to lay low and drink with your buddies at.
