Stopped by this place on the way somewhere else. The building looks like a converted Pizza Hut. Parking was pretty ample, and there appeared to be a drive-thru along the left side of the building.

Inside is kind of grungy. Beer is in the back of the shop. Most of the good stuff is on the shelves outside of the cooler. Some Belgiums, Stone offerings, Victory, and your typical BMC's in the cooler. Pretty average selection overall.

Service was average, as well. Someone said hello to me when I came in and nothing else. I didn't need help though and I didn't want to be badgered anyway.

Overall, a decent place to stop by in a pinch. However, as Green's is literally one exit south of here, it's kind of hard to justify going to this place for its selection with Green's down the road.

This place is about average in all categories. But it's good to know it's here if you happen to be on this side of town. I was staying at a Marriott that was in the middle of office buildings and fortunately came across The Dekalb Bottle House II while out on beer bar recon.

Selection is OK, more micros and imports than American macros anyway. Forgive the Bud neon in the windows. I saw some Flying Dog and Rogue six packs among others. I was looking for a bomber of something for the hotel so I didn't scan the six packs too well.

The clerk referred me to the "high gravity" shelves where there were Belgians mixed right in with American micro bombers. I grabbed what I wanted and split without looking too long. There were others in the car waiting for me so I couldn't linger.

Again, this was an oasis in the dessert for me and hopefully by adding it it might help someone else who stays at the same hotel in the future.
