Traveled down to this wonderful place with my good friends Mike and Tyler...

A: I loved the atmosphere here!!! Not too dark, but bright enough to make out the person you're actually talking too. Not too crowded either, and the noise was minimal as well. The crowd was a mix of college students along with business professionals, which actually enhanced the experience even more for me.

Q: Very Good. Good food along with good beer makes me a happy boy...I mean man! lol.

S: Excellent! Our waitress was very attentive and seemed to know a thing or two about the beer themselves.

S: They don't have a ton of beers on tap (about 15 or 20), but every brew is top notch! A few days before I visited, they had Abyss on tap!! Yes...I said Abyss! I ordered the Rogue Imperial Porter and then Port Brewery's Santa's Little Helper. Both fresh...and both very yummy!

F: A variety of BBQ style food was available...I decided to order the Sloppy Joe with Buffalo meat! Very yummy...especially with my sweet potato fries! Overall... very good food, but nothing incredible.

Value: The food was a little pricey...but the beers were priced just right!

Overall: I know that this place was just recently rated as one of the best beer bars in the world! I can see why now. A must visit! Cheers!

Started coming here when it first opened. Even then Gabe had a grand vision of what craft beer can be. So stoked for the success of Beachwood Brewing

Awesome menu that you'll find some "interesting" stuff (in a good way, I'm just not into alligator stew). The fries, BBQ chicken salad, hush puppies and ham are amazing. Oh ya, their tap list is always solid and the bottle list is pretty killer. Be prepared to wait if you go on a weekend/evening or if there is a special release. Seal Beach is extremely small but a cool vibe. LB has a rad outdoor patio which is good in the summer.

Outstanding food and guest tap list. I loved this place, I just wish they had more than one of there own beers left the day i arrived. That said the many beers they did offer were carefully chosen and dynamite. I had to visit the longbeach location to enjoy their beer, and that place was also worth the trip. Best Gastropub i've been to, I see why the have been ranked #1 in that category for multiple years!

Great food, great tap list, and you can almost find RR on tap. Can get a little cramped at times though.

Beachwood is my local(ish) watering hole and I am lucky to be within 5 miles of it, as it's likely my favorite beer bar in the US. The quality of the beers on draft is unparalleled. Add to that limited taps (more new beer all the time), awesome events (Sour Fest, anyone?), and extremely knowledgeable bartenders (Vito is the man!), and you have the best place to grab a beer in Southern California. The bar seats about 12-13 so it can be a bit hard to get a seat when they're busy, but the bartenders are always happy to serve the standing crowd (plus, there's a thin bar so you can set your drink down if you do happen to be standing). Most of the food is pretty damn good too.
