Pours a deep amber with a thin head that developed late and faded fast with light carbonation.
Has a sweet, grainy smell to it and maybe a fruity buttery hint.
A nice solid flavor, hard for me to define. Kind of sweet and malty with a hint of hops. A little bit of a bitter aftertaste.
The feel is solid, but not syrupy, with little carbonation.
Not a bad beer, I might seek out another, but not in a hurry.
Upon further review...
After writing this review, I took my pint glass with me to the basement to put in some insulation, sipping it as I worked.
As it warmed up to room temperature, a nice carmelized malt flavor emerged.
I think I lke it a little more now.
