This one is a light copper, just past amber, with a touch of haze to it. A strong white crown just over one finger tall rests dense and fluffy on top, retaining its form well and leaving good lacing on the glass.
Aroma is a mix of malts and hops, not complex but sturdy and safe. Breads and yeast pull through underneath.
The flavor is odd, certainly an amber base but a touch metallic and, with a bit too much carbonation, a little like an orange soda due to strong citrus character. Swirling it around in my mouth brings out more of the malt character, a touch of caramel and breads, and hops are light but present. It does turn a little sour in the finish.
The mouthfeel is too thin, a light body that should be medium forming the base with too much carbonation, making it spritzy. Not heinously thin or light-bodied, but not better than average.

Orange and brown appearance. Bready malt, mild hop impingement.
Taste was standard stuff, amber levels of roasting of the malt, mid 30-40 ibu territory. Easy to drink, leans more smooth than bitter.

I actually like this beer a lot, but apparently I'm in the minority, as I don't see it around much any more. Oh well. Update: looks like Mountain City Amber is the replacement for this one.
