With a name like Haus München, one expects to come across stereotypical German architecture, mugs of Spaten, and all the sausage and potato salad one's heart could desire. Well, Haus München does pay some respect to Germany, but there's more here than just Germany represented. Haus München is a clean cut eatery, store, and place for beer. Bottles of beer displayed at different points of the wall. The dining room sits a small staircase above street level. The kitchen is visible through a large window.
I was greeted at my table with a menu, but not with the typical paper menu, but with an electronic menu displayed from an iPad. I have mixed feelings about this; I enjoyed interacting with any menu items for further details and pictures, but the small screen means lots of scrolling, especially when looking at the beer.
Speaking of beer, roughly 200 bottles are available, and on the electronic menu can easily be organized by country or all together. Beers from Küd, Bier Hoff, Aecht Schlenkerla, Paualner, Duvel, Falke, Fullers are among the respresentations here. I ordered a Küd Ruby Tuesday, poured into a house branded snifter (Haus München) does their own custom glassware), and the rest of the bottle was kept in a bucket of ice water to keep cold.
Service was very attentive throughout the night, although one thing to remember was that I arrived early. Nonetheless, I was given very good treatment at my table. And the bruschetta I had, delicious! That shows that despite the name, there's more than Germany inside Haus München.

A very traditional german restaurant, but not your stereotypical german tavern. They have one of the best beer selection in town, and the waiters are very knowledgeable about them, in case you have any doubt. Also, they are great servers for everything else.
The food is very nice, generous, but the price is steep, although not far from other places around town. They changed their regular menus with an iPad menu, and that is a bummer, I find it really bad to navigate. The plus side is that every dish now has a beer recommendation.
