Stopped in on the way to Rowland's Calumet, post-Titletown.

Inside it was spacious, as if a small grocery store had a few aisles removed and liquor put in instead. There was some open area in the center, I wandered past a tasting table on my way to the back for the beer. The local WI beers were conveniently clustered in one aisle, and singles were available. Imports and bomber/750s facing them in an opposite aisle. Cuvée Rene, Hop Ruiter, Duchesse were a few of the imports, noticed JP and Bruery 750s across from them. Most of the usual crafts in the cooler, some seasonals. Display of NG Thumbprint series on the floor with singles on the shelf nearby. Friendly service, the beer guy was helpful and offered help while I wandered the aisles. Overall a solid beer spot in Green Bay, though wasn't really wowed.

This seems to be the highest-rated store in WI. Though best in the area, statewide Discount, Riley's, Steve's, Coffee Grounds, and Casanovas all have a wider selection.

Although Green Bay does not get the widest selection of craft beer distributed to it, Ridgeview carries the absolute best variety of craft beer you could hope for. Chris (the owner) stocks all the best from Wisconsin local breweries and out of state breweries like Goose Island, Founders, Bells, The Bruery, and they also have an ample supply of New Belgium's Lips of Faith series beers. On top of that, you can't beat Chris' prices. Maybe it is because I am from Chicago, but I felt like I was getting "Wal-Mart prices" on some of Chris' limited beers! Chris and the staff are very friendly and they have helpful suggestions too.

I found my new "go-to" local place. Highly recommend you pop in if you are in the area!

This is the best place to buy beer in Green Bay. They try their best to get good beer from as far away as Green Bay Distributers can get them. If they dont like the beer they don't stock it.

Nearly every bottle can be bottle individually from every six pack. I have save much money trying one beer that I could have wasted on a six pack of garlicky blach!

One of the things you do have to watch out for are some bottles that look like they belong in six packs are actually individual bottles that do sell for $6+ each. It blew my mind the first time I encountered this and 6 bottles turned out to be $35

Finally, they do have growlers of certain local brewers available. They keep kegs, growlers and labels in the back and you have to ask special for them.

They also have tastings once a week.

I always visit Ridgeview when visiting family in town. Woodman's is generally less expensive for on New Glarus, which I must stock up on while in town. However, Ridgeview is worth the trip because of the superior selection. In stock is Nebraska, Mikkeller, and the biggest selection of Alaskan in town. It is also a great place to find limited release beers.

One of the nice aspects of Ridgeview is that you need not buy a whole six pick to try a beer. You can just grab one bottle. This way, you are not stuck with a six pack of beers you do not like. On the other hand, it is hard to go wrong with most Wisconsin Crafts.

The owner was working during my visit and was both friendly and helpful. I only wish I had this selection closer to home.

This place is outstanding considering the quality of beer stores within a 100 mile radius. The service is great and the people there really know their beer... a passion for it. They will let you bust up 6 packs and not price gouge you for it, and this place excels in the high end releases. It is an old store and may not have the biggest displays but make no mistake this place is special. Beer is half in the coolers and half on the floor. Seems to have more American craft than imports, but really didn't extensively look at imports. Will go back again and again! PERFECT SCORE.

Went to this place a Monday in the AM after a Packers game after being referred to by the liquor attendant at the local Copps food store.

The owner Chris was the only one there and he was very friendly and knowledgable. He directed me to the local WI section and there were some nice offerings from breweries not available in MO like The Bruery, Victory as well as the obvious local stuff. I left with a nice 60 buck beer haul.

I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience as he (Chris) was very engaging. At one point my friends scoffed at me buying cold beer that was then gonna go to room temperature during the 7 hr. drive but Chris was quick to set them straight in a polite way.

Overall this place is great. The craft beer section is not the biggest but they have good quality.

I thought I was going to strike out during my recent trip to GB until I hit this store literally on the way to the airport that is not too far away. The owner, Mike, was a great guy and is committed to making his craft beer selection better and bigger. I was blown away by what he had and the selection, which was too much for me given the limitation of what I could pack in my suitcase. Not only did he have some highly rated brews, but was good about recommended some local WI beer, and gave me a discount to top it off. I definitely am going back on my next trip to pick up the stuff I had to leave behind.

looked on beerfly for GB beer stores and i seen this was an A. so i wrote it down and had a slight tuff time finding it (i did have to turn around). but when i walked im i was impressed. it was a friday night and they were havimg a tasting of a wine and...."double take" fresh Hopslam. my draw dropped. 14.69 i think i paid for a 6er. she gave me the "email" discount. very nice selection of local beers and others. a place to try new and tasty things and still get some great local joys.
service was excellent.
highly recommended!

Its pretty easy to find, i turned down the wrong road and saw a humongous liquor sign and new right were to go and was able to get there without turning around.

The beer is in the back in a cooler. There is also a small aisle and a few displays of ultra-discounted old stock. They have a decent selection. There are quite a few Wisconsin and regional beers. The cashier came over once to ask if i needed any help but i didn't he was friendly, although cared a bit too much about the Packers preseason game on tv. The best part of the store is you can rip out any bottle from any 4 , 6, or even 12 pack and put it in a make-your-own 6 with 10% off. Had a nice supply of minikegs. That is what makes this place. Overall the prices were reasonable. The best place in Green Bay for liquor.

I was in Green Bay recently, and looking for a place where I thought I could get some WI-brewed beers (specifically Tyranena Brewers Gone Wild beers) to take home with me, and a website directed me here. And it didn't take long to figure out that I was in the right place. One of the two co-proprietors directed me to the craft beers on clearance, some others in warm storage, and the majority in the cooler. And I found what I was looking for - Tyranena, New Glarus, Central Waters, Ale Asylum, and others. The guy helping me in the store (he had a gray moustache) even went so far to check in the back for more Tyranena beers (he had some Hop Whore stashed back there, but that wasn't what I was looking for). Prices, at least what I'm compared to in OH (rip-off) were extremely reasonable.

All-in-all, I had a really nice visit to this store and got what I was looking for from the experience.

Really clean, easy to navigate, beer right at the back. Really quality, you can buy single bottles of even pricier beers.

Awesome service, really friendly they let you know about the beer and tell you about upcoming beer specials etc.

Selection is great, a lot of rare brews I cannot find anywhere else and have loved trying since finding ridgeview. I love their selection of belgian and american breweries. I find it hard to find some of the higher priced belgians but not here.

Really great place that isn't far from home to get beer.

Small liquor store, but great selection of beer and wine. Owner is super friendly and is constantly changing up the beer selection. Lots of hard to find 6packs from all over the country.

Service is excellent, they can recommend beer or wine for you. I once bought a 6pack and didn't care for it and owner let me return it (now a 5pack) and insisted I pick out a different 6pack! Now try that somewhere else!

Prices aren't the lowest, but well in line for the quality & range of beers they carry. Recently started the build YO 6er. Great idea since you can sample some of the odd brews they stock.

Overall a kick ass selection for a small store. Just a few blocks south of Lambeau if you are in town for a game also. Beer snobs, you will find something unexpected here - check it out!

I found that this is the best place in Green Bay to find beer. If they don't have a beer you want they will find it for you. The service was great and it was easy to find what I wanted. I am glad to see that the carry the whole Central Waters line of beer. It is also nice to see a store that belives in changing their selection not just keeping the same beers. There are also those hard to find beers. I like to see that they still carry beer like Flying Dog and Rogue Ales year round.

This is one of those stores that you will spend time in looking around just to see what else they have. Usually durring my shoping I find a gem that I have yet to have.

Ridgview Liquor is worth the trip if you are in the area. They carry a great selection of micro, macro and imports. They must have 7 or 8 full cooler doors worth of fine beers.

The imports, particulary belgian style and german beers has gotten better over the last six months. Beers from Moosebacher, Hofbrau, Samichlaus, Konigs Hoven, Rodenbach, Westmalle. Then you have your usual Chimay, Ommegang, Ayinger and such.

On the American side are the beers that are available at most good stores such as Flying Dog and Goose Island. But they do a good job of bringing in beers that are new to the area. Southern Tier, Atwater Brewery, Eel River, Dales, Farmhouse, Furthermore and on.

We love the fact that you can grab single bottles right out of the six packs to build your own cold six pack.

The best part is the store is proud of their selection, are approachable and will hunt down items that they don't carry.
