I went to BJ's a few weeks back while visiting friends. All BJ's have the ssme look and feel, but this is the nicest one I have been to yet. It should be noted that this one is very new. The service was good, the serving size was well worth the money and the in house beer was decent. Probably one of the best places to get a beer in Elk Grove. A good time was had by all. I really recommend the fish and chips. The portion size of the chili cheese fries was enormous to say the least and for under $100, 6 people went home full and definitely not thirsty. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is a fairly standard BJ's i think. Not that standard is a bad thing in this case. I've stopped here on business trips several times and have enjoyed an ale or two, with some decent appetisers, and a meal. It is not nearly as busy as I'd think it'd be. The Fresno one is very similar, and is crowded all the time.
I'm pretty sure they both get their beer from the same place, BJ's in Brea i think. They have the standard BJ's beers:
BJ'S BREWHOUSE BLONDE
PIRANHA PALE ALE
JEREMIAH RED ALE
and they always seem to have some sort of Sierra Nevada special beer, often a name I've never seen before. Once it was Torpedo, an IPA if i remember right.
and two other non-BJ's taps.
Check it out, easy access to Highway 99. Bar staff have been very friendly.
