Owner Joe Paci opened up his dream bar here just last November.

He has premium cigars (his biz card says he is a Tobacconist) and coffees plus features live blues/Jazz and more, often. Best of all for BA fans he has over 100 bottled beers in a nice, stock from the rear, glass cooler!

I saw seven Sam Adams flavors and an equal number of Schlalfy styles,
as St. Louis craft has hit KC hard recently. Closer to home, you get four BLVDS and a couple Flying Monkeys . Colorado is well repped, too- with O'Dell, New Belgium, Breckenridge and Flying Dog offerings. (BTW- most of these beers above are $3 per bottle at all times!)

The numerous non-distnct macro beer Neons in the front window should not scare you off! Joe has good beer choices.

Thinking Global? He's got 3 each from Spaten and Paulaner plus twelve choices from the British Isles- Tetley's and Young Chocolate cans among them. Just one Grimbergen and Stella from Beer Nirvana Land, - the crowd will have to call for more Belgians once they work their way up.

NOTE- A special place in my heart- They have NO AB PRODUCTS HERE!! That is a tough call in Missouri! (Some MillerCoors for those who must).

FYI No tap beer (or 'draw', if you speak Misssourian).

They offer food- did not try yet.

Staff is very nice but may need to time to gain beer knowledge- starting with offering glasses for these good brews. (Bad local habits, I guess).

A big clean place with a mixed ages crowd. Worth a visit over the River to NKC.

Easy to get to from Downtown KC plus close to casinos. If you are a big baseball fan, Chappel's nearby is a Sports Museum/Restaurant.
